Does Anyone Know What Steps I Have To Go Thru With Medicare Before I Get Approved For Lap Band Surgery?

I have already tried medicare.gov website and found nothing on lap band coverage. I already have an appointment for a psychological evaluation and an appointment with the neutritionist next week. I would like to know if this means I’m approved for the lap band surgery or how close am I getting to an approval.

It’s handled the same way as insurance would be. Call the office of the doctor that referred you to the other doctors. Your doctor’s office will most likely call to get approval if they haven’t already.
