It Is Hard To Lose Weight Because Of Our Lifestyle Habits
How to lose weight? Eat 4-5 small meals and workout regularly, and you can lose weight within weeks! No, I am not saying that, but that is the kind of advice that you would get from most of the weight loss experts. Now I have a simple question for you: if weight loss were really so easy, why are so many people overweight, and more importantly, why most people fail to lose weight?
The reason why weight loss is not simple is because of our lifestyle habits and the age we live in. If our habits were as simple and natural as our forefathers, then it would have been much easier for us to lose weight; in fact, if you lead a simple and natural life, then there is very little possibility of your ever gaining weight.
However the new age lifestyle is characterized by stress, fast lifestyle and poor eating habits. We find it extremely hard to lose weight because changing lifestyle habits is difficult, if not impossible, for most of us. With that said, many people have successfully lost weight with self-discipline and determination, so there is no reason why you cannot!
1. Slow eating is needed: Many people eat pretty quickly and thus end up overeating! In order to lose weight, you must learn to eat slowly, because that is the only way to satiate yourself with very little food. Are you aware of the fact that it takes the brain at least twenty minutes to realize that you are full? Therefore, by eating slowly, you will be able to feel full quicker! Plus slow eating also aids in quicker digestion!
2. Water is your friend: Remember one thing – water is your true friend when it comes to weight loss. In fact, almost 80% of our body is composed of water. If you drink water regularly, it will not only help in flushing out all the toxins from your body, but also in increasing your metabolic rate. Both of these things will ultimately help you lose weight fast!
3. Don’t snack in the evening: Snacking in the evening is really a bad habit, especially if you are looking forward to shedding some pounds. As a matter of fact, you shouldn’t snack after 7.00 PM, because you will be going to bed pretty soon and therefore your body would store food instead of digesting it! This would result in weight gain. If you really cannot get over this bad habit, try to eat some fresh fruits during the evening!
