I qualified for accchs with a monthly premium and want to know if they cover any part of the lap band surgery?

Hello everyone.
I am looking to get my lap band surgery, however my medical insurance does not cover the procedure. I understand that one of the options is to get the loan for this purpose, but I am still in search for something less damaging (financially). I am currently living in Connecticut, my medical coverage Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia (blue choice PPO) and I am qualified for the surgery.

Is there a insurance company in texas that will cover the lap band surgery. I currently donot have insurance at all and I would love to get this done but I cannot afford the $15,000 to do so. If anyone has had this done with there insurance what was the weight time in order to get this done and was there any requirments that there insurance company made them do before you got approved to do the surgery? I have been looking at insurance company but I am very confused. Thank you for your help.

I am on quite a few medications and I have stacked weight on. Diet and exercise are not doing anything and I am still gaining weight slowly. How would I go about getting lap band surgery?

My BMI is 33.7 but I am 100 pounds over my ideal weight. I also have hypertension. The medications that I am have caused me to gain this weight within the past 6 months. My doctor has advised me against quitting them.
I cannot afford the lap band surgery. I am looking to either take out a loan or possibly get health insurance. Does anyone know what health insurance companies cover (even if only partially) this surgery? Has anyone had experience, and would I qualify under the insurance’s terms?
