Im just looking for anyone who can tell me good or bad stories and or tips for the lap band surgery. How did the surgery work out, how quick was recovery, how much have you lost in how long, anything you can tell me about your experience would be great! Thanks

How does someone on the Atkins diet get his or her recommended daily 25-30 grams of fiber?

I have already tried medicare.gov website and found nothing on lap band coverage. I already have an appointment for a psychological evaluation and an appointment with the neutritionist next week. I would like to know if this means I’m approved for the lap band surgery or how close am I getting to an approval.

Hello everyone.
I am looking to get my lap band surgery, however my medical insurance does not cover the procedure. I understand that one of the options is to get the loan for this purpose, but I am still in search for something less damaging (financially). I am currently living in Connecticut, my medical coverage Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia (blue choice PPO) and I am qualified for the surgery.

If I go on a low calorie diet after the atkins diet will I put all the weight that I lose on Atkins back on ?
