Will I Gain Weight During My Menstrual Cycle Doing The Atkins Diet?

I am currently on the atkins diet. I have been on the diet for 7 days now and have lost 6 lbs. I will be going through pms this upcoming week and will start my cycle on Saturday. I was just wondering will I gain weight when I am on my menstrual cycle while doing the atkins diet? If so, how long will it take to come back off?

I see that on the atkins diet I tend to go to have bowel movements much less than I normally do. I was told that my metabolism rate should increase due to all of the protein, is this true? Is there a insurance company in texas that will cover the lap band surgery. I currently donot have insurance at all and I would love to get this done but I cannot afford the $15,000 to do so. If anyone has had this done with there insurance what was the weight time in order to get this done and was there any requirments that there insurance company made them do before you got approved to do the surgery? I have been looking at insurance company but I am very confused. Thank you for your help.
