If you’re not buying the book, and your asking the half-informed people on this board for advice, you are not even remotely serious about the Atkins diet.
I would bet you are doing it for weight. A dumb reason to do the Atkins diet. Atkins is a cleansing diet, and it is radical for many people. If you approach it with this lazy attitude you could very well be harmed by it.
Wake up and stop being lazy about your body. It’s the only one you have.
adkins is acually a very unhealthy and well its just not a very good diet.

The Atkins diet is tough because it eliminates all carbs. This is difficult if you’re a vegetarian. Rent the book from the library.
The 1st week is all protein. Eggs, bacon, cold cuts, meats, fish, chicken.
Try the South Beach diet. The principals are similar but you can have veggies. Very important.
